Glittered Tree Ornaments
These glittered tree ornaments are just perfect for Christmas. They can be decorated in a lot of ways. You will use some white glue, ribbon or string, a typical green card stock, depending on your preferences you can go with green tissue paper or green glitter. Buy some star-shaped beads, too and gem stickers. It is easy to make a circle on a piece of cardboard. Grab a small bowl and draw a circle to get the shape that you want. Then you cut the circle in half, leave an extra flap available to glue the two sides of the cone together. You can use the same pattern and draw semi-circles then you can cut them out to make the trees. You can curl the paper and glue it together when making your ornament. Cut pieces of ribbon because you`ll be using it as support for the ornaments. Make a knot from the ribbon so it will form a loop. The loop will go in the tree cut. You can use white glue if you’re not in a hurry but if you don’t have too much time at your disposal you can use hot glue. Put some white glue on the tree and then dip the tree in a small bowl full of glitter. Let it dry after you covered the entire tree with glitter. You can also attach sequins or small little glass beads or gems on the trees with a toothpick and some adhesive. If you want to make ruffled trees, cut strips of green paper making sure they are just one inch high. You can use a pair of scissors with a scalloped edge. Start at the bottom of the tree and add the ruffled pieces of green paper. Then you can add the gems and you`re done.
