Hot Cocoa Mason Jar Gift
The Christmas holidays are slowly approaching and you want to offer an original gift to your friends, neighbors or teachers. If you want to offer a gift to everybody but you’re on a budget, here’s a do-it-yourself project that won’t take too much of your time and money. You will need some basic supplies that will turn this gift into something awesome. You will need a regular looking mason jar-the kind of jar you can buy at a dollar shop. You`ll also need hot cocoa, mint M&Ms and some marshmallows. Make sure to search the internet for some interesting doily patterns. Choose the one you like best, cut its shape out and buy some twine and look for snowflake patterns. Snowflake patterns can also be found on the internet and you should choose a pattern that goes hand in hand with your doily. You will be using a decoupage brush, too. You can use some decoupage glue for your doily and snowflake patterns. If you want the gift to look more like Christmas, try a glitter decoupage. Place the glue in the center of the mason jar, then apply the doily on it, making sure it is also centered on the jar. Remember to use thin layers of decoupage glue. Glue the snowflake patterns to the center of the doily. You can also add some glass beads or some pearls in the center of your doily. Fill the jar with the goodies that you bought, put on the lid then make a bow out of twine.
