Inexpensive Christmas Decor
Some houses have mantel pieces while others have pianos or other pieces of furniture that can serve as display for different Christmas decorations and ornaments. If you want to fill your room with some Christmas cheer, you might as well give this do-it-yourself project a try. It is quite cheap, but it will look beautiful as a display during the Christmas holidays. You can pick a nativity scene that you like or that you already have deposited somewhere in your house and put it in the center of your display setting. You can take a big glass and fill it with different ornaments and ribbons. Place the glass behind the nativity scene. You can surround everything with pinecones and Christmas tree lights. Use some glittery spray paint to spray over the pinecones and the ornaments for a more enchanted look. Use some candle stands and decorate them with bows, ribbons and place some scented candles on the stands. Wrap the candles in burlap to fit the entire display. Search for cheap wooden words and spray them with glitter paint. Choose the words that represent you the best: faith, love, family, joy etc. This display saves you a lot of time and money which is perfect because you need to invest more in Christmas gifts.
