A lot of people love wind chimes. They make a very relaxing sound and they also look good, dangling around. A lot of interesting wind chimes cost a lot of money from $100 to $200 and even more. You can step right up, use your imagination and some cheap materials and put together an original, cheap wind chime. If you have things lying around your house or if you visit a yard sale, a garage sale or an antique shop, you`ll find something cheap yet beautiful at the same time. You can take the support off an old chandelier and hang old forks and spoons. You can use old skeleton keys to make a beautiful vintage looking wind chime. Even CD’s can serve as wind chimes and they have such a modern look, they surely are a great idea or source of inspiration for an awesome wind chime. You can even use a ruler and attach some colored crayons or pencils on it and ta-da! You have a very colored wind chime now that you can offer to your kids or to a teacher. If you wish to avoid spending too much money you can attach or glue some bottle caps together and let them dangle in the wind!
